Welcome to
Kiswah Collection
Over the years, through our many visits to Saudi Arabia, we have been blessed with the opportunity to acquire a remarkable collection of rare Islamic artefacts.
Each journey has allowed us to connect more deeply with the sacred heritage of Islam, and through this, our collection has steadily grown into something truly unique and meaningful. These treasured pieces, connected to the holy sites of Makkah and Madinah, have become part of a beautiful collection that has both immense historical value and profound spiritual resonance.
What began as a passion for preserving sacred history has now become a carefully curated collection that has embodied centuries of devotion, artistry, and reverence.
Imbued with both deep historical significance and spiritual depth, every artefact within the Kiswah Collection reflects the timeless beauty of Islamic tradition and stands as a bridge between the past and the present.

Kiswah
The Kiswah is the sacred cloth that covers the Holy Kaaba in Makkah, a tradition that dates back thousands of years. Today, it is woven from pure natural silk, dyed deep black, and adorned with verses from the Holy Quran embroidered in gold and silver thread. This timeless masterpiece embodies devotion, reverence, and spiritual artistry at the heart of Islamic heritage.

Sitara
The Sitara, or curtain, was traditionally presented as a gift from the Ottoman Sultans of Istanbul to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. This practice began in the 10th century under the Ottoman dynasty and became a cherished tradition, symbolising devotion, respect, and the enduring bond between the sacred cities of Makkah, Madinah, and the Ottoman Caliphate.

Kaaba Key
The key to the Kaaba is a sacred artefact in Islam, held by the Bani Shaiba family since the time of Prophet Muhammad . The history of the key is significant, dating back to pre-Islamic times and being passed down through various tribes before the Bani Shaiba family.
